Yasmeena is a British-Afghan erotic photo model, photographer, and artivist.
She uses her body as a canvas to tell provocative and empowering stories. Through her work, she challenges primitive traditional and religious values and societies' expectations of women. She encourages everyone to defy conventions and follow their own path.
She is here to breathe free, to create, to fly, and to live her life to the fullest and to do as she pleases.
My modelling journey began with self-portraiture and has evolved to convey my unapologetic identity in a way that symbolizes sensuality, femininity, and simplicity.
I strongly believe that in order to live a happy and fulfilled life, one must live it according to their own and original standards and preferences, in particular if it means going against societal norms. This lead me also into exploring the realm behind the camera as one of the very few female erotic photographers who has a lot of experience in front of the camera.
I chose to make myself happy regardless of what others may think. I refuse to be apologetic for living an enjoyable life, and I refuse to be confined by the expectations of others.
My body, my rules.
"You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise." - Still I Rise
